Nick Slavich
Nick, a native Californian, was born at his parents home in San Jose on August 1, 1916. An only son, he had 2 sisters.
He served 4 years in the US Army, spending 22 months on the island of Attu-Aleutians.
Nick spent 41 years with Bank of America. He has been with Kiwanis for over 50 years.
He has one son, Jeff, and 4 grandchildren, which he proudly admits are his favorite things in life.
Nick states that he joined Kiwanis to be invloved in his community. He says Kiwanis has been a wonderful experience for both he and Bonnie and that they have met some terrific people and formed some strong, lasting relationships with other club members.
