Dave McMullen

Dave was born in Cleveland Ohio on December 10, 1930.  He grew up with his mom and one brother in Southern California and moved to Berkeley in 1950.

He attended several colleges, including UCLA, UC-Berkeley and San Jose State, where he got his BA in 1976.

Dave has 5 children and 3 beautiful grandchildren.

He served for 2 years in the US Army and was an active reservist from 1954 - 1960.  Following his stint in the armed forces, he took a job with Wells Fargo Bank, where he stayed for 20 years.  He has been a CPA since 1977.

He enjoys history and music (opera mostly).  His favorite hobby, golf, will come as no surprise to anyone who knows him well.  What may surprise you is that he was the world's Teeter-Totter champion in 1951.

Dave joined Kiwanis in 1962.  He was invited in by former long-time member, Don Bettisworth.  Although absent for a while (1966-1976) he came back to the club in 1977 where he has been extremely active ever since.
